Planning a trip to Zanzibar and Pemba? Whether you’re relaxing on the white-sand beaches of Nungwi, unwinding on the coast around Jambiani, exploring the historic streets of Stone Town, diving and snorkelling around coral reefs, discovering spice plantations, visiting quieter Pemba Island, experiencing traditional island culture or combining your trip with a Tanzania safari, preparing your health before you travel is an important part of your journey.
Travel health advice depends on your itinerary, activities, climate, regions visited and length of stay. Whether you’re relaxing on the coast, diving, exploring historic sites or travelling beyond the main tourist areas, your health needs may vary.
